Why did you start with yoga?
I started yoga when I was a teenager to gain and maintain flexibility as a dancer, but it turned out to be so much more than that! As I started to make dance my profession, I used yoga as a way to create more awareness and as a way to embody my dancing more. You could say that yoga helped me to find my essence as a dancer.

Why did you become a yoga teacher?
When I experienced how deeply the practice of yoga goes to find connection and reconnect to yourself and how much more aware you become of yourself and what you find important, I felt a very natural urgency to start implementing that in my dance career and classes. After a while I decided to also teach yoga, but you will still notice my dance background in the classes.

What do you love most about teaching yoga?
Teaching comes quite naturally to me, the passion to teach comes forth out of the passion to be of service to others. I grew up in Southern Africa and caring for others, building communities and sharing has always been important principles of mine.

What styles of yoga do you teach?
I mostly teach power and flow. I love to work hard and release big-time after.

Can you describe your personal teaching style in a few words?
My teaching is strong and grounded. My intention in every class is to bring awareness and connection.
