Health & Safety

At Bondi, the safety of our guests, teachers and hosts is our main priority. To allow for a safe re-opening, we have taken the following safety & health measures. These are completely in line with the current guidelines set by the government and we will continue to adjust these measures or add new ones when necessary.

General measures taken by studio

  • Capacity: Reduced class capacity to allow for proper social distancing
  • Routing: Clear marking and routing inside and outside studio to easily maintain 1.5 meter distance and minimise passing moments. Clear marking of numbered spots in shala
  • Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer will be available at various spots in the studio
  • Cleaning: Strict cleaning protocols for before and after class and for general thorough cleaning
  • Ventilation: Our studio is equipped with a high-quality ventilation system for continuous fresh air flow that complies with all safety requirements and standards. The windows in shala will stay open during class when possible. Windows will remain open between classes to allow maximum fresh air circulation
  • Booking/check-in: Mandatory online reservations and check-in process to keep everything contactless
  • Changing rooms: Changing rooms and showers will remain closed
  • Toilets: Our toilet is open, but only for emergency visits
  • Lockers: Reduced locker capacity to allow for proper distancing while using them
  • Mats: No use of our yoga mats, so you are required to bring your own
  • Props: Classes will be designed to use as little props as possible. In classes where props are used you are required to bring your own towel to place over the props
  • Assists: No hands-on assists by our teachers. Teachers remain at a minimum of 1.5 meter distance at all times.
  • Tea station: No tea or water will be served before and after class

Health check

We are required to do a health check with every guest upon making a reservation as well as upon arrival in the studio. After your booking, you will receive a booking confirmation per e-mail. This e-mail contains a health check questionnaire. Please read it carefully. If one of these questions is answered with 'yes', please cancel your booking and don't come to the studio.
