Why did you start with yoga?
I wanted to do something that I was afraid of, and yoga seemed pretty scary (at the time)! I was really just challenging myself to get out of my comfort zone.

Why did you become a yoga teacher?
I unexpectedly fell in love with yoga, and I embarked on a teacher training looking for more insight, depth, wisdom… I feel like I became a teacher accidentally, I just wanted to share the amazing benefits a regular practice can bring to your life.

What do you love most about teaching yoga?
It is such a personal practice and experience, so no matter who you are or where you come from or what you’re dealing with, there is always a way for you to practice. I especially love guiding retreats and working with people over an extended period of time as it is often in these cocoon like settings that we can come to deeper personal insight and healing.

What styles of yoga do you teach?
Yin, yin yang, gentle hatha flows and lots of meditation and Buddhist teachings.

Can you describe your personal teaching style in a few words?
I offer heartfelt guidance towards more ease and joy in daily life through accessible classes usually packed with mindfulness, storytelling and poetry – and a bit of movement known as yoga.

What is your favourite song for Savasana?
Peace and quiet (i.e. silence, no music).

What is your favourite book or movie?
What an impossible question! 😉
