Why did you start with yoga?
I started yoga to focus on being more mindful and present, working on a stronger and healthier body and finding balance.

Why did you become a yoga teacher?
I started as a volunteer as a Yoga Assistant for the ARGO in Rijswijk, Yoga for people with physical challenges. The teacher asked if I wanted to teach yoga and start a Yoga Teacher Training. After a while I decided to start the Yoga Teacher Training for insights and learn more about yoga and during the 1st year I was asked to sub Yoga Classes at different locations. It was not my intention to become a Yoga Teacher but after a while I loved sharing the meditation, yoga practice and intention to work with the yogi’s to support them on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

What do you love most about teaching yoga?
I love sharing the yoga practice, meditation, soft and strong mindful movements, to listen to your body, find a new balance and create a safe space for the yogi’s. To teach from my heart, soul and intuition, create a safe space to breathe and to be completely present.

What styles of yoga do you teach?
The yoga styles I teach are Hatha Yoga, Gentle Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yin Yang Yoga, Slow Flow Yoga and Yogalates.

Can you describe your personal teaching style in a few words?
The style for the teaching of the yoga classes depends on the class. A mindful and soft Yin Yoga, a strong and powerful Hatha Yoga, a Gentle Hatha Yoga with meditation. All the classes include Meditation, observing the physical body and breath and to work with the energy of the moment.
