Why did you start with yoga?
In one of my travels I bumped into yoga and was inspired. Once back in the NL I started practicing and not long after I went on a trip to India for my first TTC.

Why did you become a yoga teacher?
To be honest, I had no interest in becoming a teacher. I took 5 more years, before I said “yes” to teaching.  (I said “no” 3 times before I said “yes”).

What do you love most about teaching yoga?
I can express my creativity and mold it into fun and challenging classes. But mostly I enjoy the interaction and experiences shared in and outside the classroom.

What styles of yoga do you teach?
Almost every style; my first training was an Asthanga TTC, but I don’t teach that style very much anymore.  I have a huge passion for Vinyasa flow classes and I adore Yin. In my first training, I was lucky enough and got introduced to both. These last couple of years,  I started to appreciate the benefits form practices like: hatha, restorative and gentle flow.

Can you describe your personal teaching style in a few words?
I teach the way I am and I have heard my classes can be intense. There’s always somewhere a joke to be found and secretly I will weave some (personal) life lessons into the practice. Bringing the philosophy back in modern day of teaching.

What is your favorite song for Savasana?
Too many to mention. Just come to class and experienced it yourself.
